Cajon High 

Tom Porter is a former CHS student and a 1994 graduate of CSUSB. After briefly teaching elementary and high school, he began a career in politics and public policy, which has included service on the staffs of three senior Members of Congress in Washington, DC and on numerous political campaigns around the country. He is now Vice President of a federal government relations and public affairs firm specializing in national energy policy in Washington D.C. Tom is also a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, specializing in public affairs and media operations. His service has included two mobilizations to active duty and multiple trips abroad in support of the Global War on Terror, including to Afghanistan and the Arabian Gulf.
