Tim Wang

 

 

Tim Wang graduated from CHS in 2006. He was one of the class valedictorians and received the full IB diploma. During his time as CHS he participated in several extra-curriculars including Mock Trial, Varsity Tennis and Concert and Marching band. He went on to receive his BA in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley he was involved in scientific research in a genetics lab and served as one of the coordinators for a student run homeless clinic called The Suitcase Clinic. He also spent time working at Berkeley High School, tutoring students both during and after class, mainly in the math and sciences. After graduating, Tim worked for an education group that provided private 1-on-1 SAT/ACT tutoring. He also worked at the University of California San Francisco in a research lab that studied asthma and COPD. Currently, Tim is attending the Medical College of Wisconsin to pursue his Doctor of Medicine (MD). In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis and exploring new restaurants.
