Sally Sing

Sally Sing graduated from CHS in 2004. At CHS, she was in CSF, NHS, an IB student,  was involved in student council all four years, and was elected ASB President her senior year. After graduation, she attended UC Irvine and graduated with a BA in Asian American Studies, with a minor in History. She went on to get her teaching credential at CSUSB as well as her BA in Mathematics (Integrated Teaching Track). Shortly after, she started her Masters in Education, with a focus in Mathematics and Science, while working as a Resident Substitute Teacher at Fontana High School.  After reading about the shortage of teachers in Clark County School District in North Las Vegas, where education is the lowest in rank, she decided to make the move out there to teach.

For the past two years, she has been working as a Math Teacher at Mojave High School in North Las Vegas, one of the many turnaround schools in the district. Working in a Title 1 school, she turns unique challenges into opportunities in order to ensure that students from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds are receiving a high quality education. She looks forward to mentoring current and future CHS students and hopes this opportunity will expand the CHS alumni network.
