Luis Reyna graduated from CHS in 2008. At CHS he competed in track and field all four years and received his full IB diploma. Afterwards he pursued his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis. During college Luis was a collegiate rower all 4 years and competed nationally on an annual basis. He was the Freshmen MVP, Varsity MVP from 2010-2012, Team fundraiser in 2010-2011 and the Team President/Captain in 2011-2012. He also competed at the world's biggest regatta in Boston, head of the Charles in 2011. He now coaches for the UC Davis Men's rowing team and for the River City Rowing Club.
