Gurri Grewal

Gurri Grewal graduated from Cajon High School in 2009. She then received her B.A. in Public Health Policy, with a minor in Education, from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2014. At UCI, Gurri worked in student housing for 2 years as a community programmer and then as a resident advisor. She was also the vice president of programming for a pre-medical co-ed fraternity and has research experience in both education and public health. Her interests are varied, but the common denominator has always been mentorship and service.

Gurri is passionate about how public health intersects with youth education. After graduation, she worked as a Project Manager for a research study called Project Sprout. The study examined how science, technology, engineering, and math courses are taught in large universities. She is currently pursuing a single-subject teaching credential for science and hopes to teach biology at the high-school level.
