Gail Galendez

 

 

Gail Galendez graduated from CHS in 2005. During her time at Cajon, she participated in the IB program, student council and marching band. Since then, she has studied behavioral neuroscience at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After graduating, she spent a few years coordinating clinical trials in different treatments for schizophrenia and cancer at Massachusetts General Hospital. Last year, she moved to Atlanta, GA and is currently working as a research project coordinator for the Fuqua Center for Late Life Depression at Emory University. Her research is focused on neuromodulation as an alternative treatment for moderate to severe depression. In her work, she enjoys learning about the biology of behavior, new exciting technological medical treatments and at the same time, tune her skills in psychiatry.
