Cajon High 

Arpita Sharma graduated from CHS in 2008. She is currently a student at USC, pursuing a Dual Masters in Public Policy and Planning. She received her Bachelors Degree in Development Studies from UC Berkeley. Thanks to the amazing teachers in the Cajon IB program, she was well prepared emotionally and intellectually for all the challenging courses Berkeley had to offer. While at Cajon, she became very passionate about taking leadership and giving back to the community. When she started studying at UC Berkeley, she realized just how important community engagement was to solving a lot of the world's biggest challenges, especially the need for social justice. Her path to addressing these issues is to develop better local laws and policies that address the needs of all residents within cities like San Bernardino. She looks forward to meeting the students at CHS and mentoring them.
