Amanda Frossard
Amanda Frossard graduated from Cajon High School in 2004. She majored in Chemistry at UC Berkeley and graduated with a BS in 2008. During that time, she was a research assistant in an atmospheric chemistry laboratory on campus and prepared and taught classes at the Lawrence Hall of Science. She also worked at the Air Pollution Research Center at UC Riverside for a summer. In order to continue researching air quality and climate change, Amanda went to graduate school at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. For her PhD work, she made measurements of atmospheric aerosol particles during three research cruises in multiple ocean regions. She received her PhD in Oceanography with an emphasis in Climate Science in 2014 and now works as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley in Chemistry studying cloud droplet evaporation processes.
